The 42nd annual Frenchy's Stone Crab Weekend 'Block Party' on Baymont Street — fresh-off-the-boat stone crab claws at deep discounts (claw prices set by market), live music on stage both days, food, drinks and merchandise. Friday Oct 23 lineup: Paisley Howell (12–2 PM), Brian Caudill Band (2:30–4:30 PM), Andy Heath Trio (5–7 PM), Cross Fire Creek (8–10 PM). Saturday Oct 24 lineup: Frank Dancey (12–2 PM), Acoustic Mayhem Duo (2:30–4:30 PM), Moonshine Abby (5–7 PM), Black Honkeys (8–10 PM). Free admission. Stone crab season opens Oct 15 and runs through May 1. Note: a second party, the Dunedin 'Backlot Bash' at 501 Causeway Blvd, runs the same weekend.
